This episode’s pretty sappy, and may alienate action fans. Dante steps between a demon and his prey, an entire city. However, he must deal first with the city’s mayor and the job that he is given.
Dante’s such a slacker, but he never seems to lose his touch. I envy him.
The verdict’s out: I’m definitely following this show. God. The music is totally badass, from the OP before the ED (which was subdued). Plus, there’s Lady action for everybody.
In this episode, there’s this evil motorcycle racer who kills everyone he races with, attacking them with hallucinations until they become mad and crash into something. So what’s up? RACING!

The DMC anime has started airing, and a friend informed me of the presence of subs for its first episode. So I went to Tokyotosho, typed “Devil May Cry” in the search box, looked up a random sub group, and downloaded its torrent. Run torrent, leave the computer, play SRW MX until it’s finished downloading, and watch.
Boy, the subs are horrible. Ugly fonts, and nigh-unreadable English. I managed to watch through the entire first episode without throwing out the sub out of my hard disk. So now I’m taking screenshots from a raw.
