Excuse me for not posting an entry about episode 16, since it was just a recap episode. Really, who reviews recap episodes anyway. In episode 17, though, the timeskip of 7 years has happened, and the young ones have all grown up (Simon, Nia, Rossiu, Darry, Gimmy). Unfortunately, we’re forced to warm up to everyone’s new roles and looks at our own pace, as the episode 17 immediately thrusts us into a gloomy situation.

The conclusion of the humans’ conflict with the Helix King. Let’s just say that manly tears were shed during this episode. It easily surpasses the epicness of episode 8.
Yeah, I’m kinda late in writing this right now. Anyways, the remaining two generals get squashed in entertaining ways. Flying Dai-Gurren action, and Ideon all-direction missiles!
